Emerging Security Challenges Division, Cyber Defense Section, NATO HQ

Ben Hiller leads Cyber Defense Policy related to Partner Nations and International Organizations at NATO HQ’s Emerging Security Policy Division. In his role, Ben develops national cyber capabilities, advises on measures to uphold a rules based approach to cyberspace, and co-ordinates engagement with Partners on cyber defense issues. Before joining NATO, Ben was responsible for cyber policy at the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) guiding efforts in developing and operationalizing confidence building measures (CBMs) to reduce the risk of conflicts stemming from the use of cyber capabilities between States.
