We are happy to announce that the TRR 266 Annual Conference 2020 will be held at ESMT Berlin and Humboldt University of Berlin (Berlin, Germany). The Conference is organized by TRR 266 Accounting for Transparency with co-hosting and support by the Center for Financial Reporting and Auditing (CFRA) at ESMT Berlin and HU Berlin.

The TRR 266 is a trans-regional Collaborative Research Center funded by the German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft – DFG). The team of more than 80 dedicated researchers examines how accounting and taxation affect firm and regulatory transparency and how regulation and transparency impact our economy and society. The Center intends to help develop effective regulation for firm transparency and a transparent tax system. Naturally, the Center also ensures transparency of its own research.

Each year TRR 266 organizes a TRR 266 Conference to present work and exchange ideas. The conference is intended to provide an arena for the ongoing research, thereby allowing for cross-pollination between research projects, and the strengthening of the academic network.

Participation

Conference attendance is by invitation only. The first edition in 2019 was restricted to TRR 266 researchers only, but from this year it is open to the scientific community.
