  • Volkswagen and Audi Chair for Diversity in Leadership

    ESMT Berlin has an opening at the rank of tenured Associate Professor or Full Professor in the field of diversity in leadership. Ideally, candidates would come from the area of organizational behavior with a research focus on diversity-related issues in organizations, interfacing with leadership aspects. Candidates from other areas of management will also be considered. Requirements include outstanding research accomplishments, commitment to excellence in teaching, and international experience.

  • Joachim Faber Chair in Business and Technology

    ESMT Berlin has an opening at the rank of tenured Associate Professor or Full Professor in the field of business and technology. Ideally, candidates should have substantial expertise in deep technology innovation and entrepreneurship, with an application of such technologies to solve business challenges by commercializing inventions as well as to tackle societal and/or policy challenges. Examples of deep tech fields of interest may include (but are not restricted to) artificial intelligence, quantum computing, blockchain, biotechnology, robotics, photonics. Candidates with backgrounds in STEM-related fields combined with an established record of research in business are particularly encouraged to apply. Requirements include outstanding research accomplishments, commitment to excellence in teaching in both degree programs and executive education, and international experience.

  • Faculty Position in Strategy, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship

    ESMT Berlin invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in the areas of strategy, entrepreneurship, or innovation. Colleagues in these areas at ESMT include Matthew Bothner, Gianluca Carnabuci, Linus Dahlander, Chengwei Liu, Eric Quintaine, Henry Sauermann, and Stefan Wagner.

    Applicants should hold a PhD in Management, Sociology, Economics, or a related field. Candidates should demonstrate the potential for research excellence, including publications in top general and field journals, as well as the potential for teaching excellence. The position offers teaching opportunities in Master’s, MBA, PhD, and executive education programs.
