Harald Hungenberg is Dean of Executive Education at ESMT Berlin.
Professor Hungenberg has gained extensive experience in cooperating with companies and executives. He works as a consultant and lecturer for strategy, innovation and change management. He teaches in management programs of leading companies like Bertelsmann, B. Braun, Schaeffler and Siemens. For many years, he had been a visiting lecturer at ESMT Berlin, and earlier at Duke Corporate Education. The results of his research work were documented in more than 100 books and articles.
Before becoming Dean at ESMT Berlin, Harald Hungenberg had been a Chaired Professor and Head of the Management Institute at Friedrich-Alexander-University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. Prior to his occupation in Nuremberg, Harald Hungenberg had been Associate Dean and Head of the Strategic Management department of Leipzig Graduate School of Management (HHL). He also worked as a management consultant for McKinsey & Company, Inc. for several years.
Professor Hungenberg studied business administration at Justus-Liebig-University in Giessen and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology – M.I.T., Boston (USA).
