Dr. Katja H. Brunk joined ESMT in May 2012 as a postdoctoral research fellow. Her position was funded by the Seventh Framework Programme: Marie Curie Actions, Support for training and career development of researcher, Intra-European Fellowships (IEF) Call: FP7-PEOPLE-IEF-2011. Katja received her PhD in Management from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, Université Libre de Bruxelles, Centre Emile Bernheim, Brussels, Belgium in 2010. She also holds a postgraduate degree in Advanced Studies (DEA) in Management Science (2007) as well as an MBA (2002) both from the same institution.
Following many years as a marketing practitioner and consultant, Katja left the corporate sector to fully pursue her passion for research. The focus of her research is on consumer behaviour, specifically consumer reactions to corporate ethics, CSR, or sustainability efforts in general. Her work has been published in leading journals such as the Journal of Business Research, the Journal of Business Ethics, the Journal of Consumer Behaviour, and Advances in Consumer Research.
